DJ B was born in Baltimore in 1979 and grew up between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., on the radio that shaped a generation: Northeast Hip-Hop, R&B, and Top 40.
Georgia Tech brought him to Atlanta in 1997. He stayed seventeen years, started DJing around 2002, and learned Dirty South, bounce, and bass where they were being made.
He moved to Las Vegas in 2016, then spent 2019 to 2024 in Oakland, living inside the West Coast sound. Since 2024 he's been back in Las Vegas as the Official UNLV Rebel DJ.
His approach hasn't changed: don't wait for a record to get popular. Play it, mix it into something the room already loves, and let the floor decide. That's what "breaking records" means to him, and it's why a DJ B set crosses genres without losing anyone.
The name comes from Bret "The Hitman" Hart's Sharpshooter finishing move. The triple O is on purpose.
